This is one of the illustrations for this text/illustration joint storybook project. [link]
Basically, one person writes a chapter of the story, then the next person draws the illustration for that, and the next person writes the next chapter, and so on.
This was the first time I ever drew a dragon. I looked at bunch of references before drawing this, so I think it turned out okay.
As you can see, I got lazy with the background after the mountain top. XD It could've been a much better picture.
I would retouch it if I still could find the original file somewhere.

Dragons can be a nightmare to do (they're almost as bad as horses), but I think yours is pretty damn impressive, especially since you say its your first time.
